Family Vision Statements

A guide to helping your Family find its Direction

A Vision Statement provides Direction to your Family.  It answers the question, “Where are we going?”

Use the provided Vision Statements as starting points for your family.  Choose 1-2 that you like, share it with the family, then cut, combine, and construct to create a custom Family Vision Statement that fits and resonates with your family.  Or, take one from the list and use it as is!

They are separated into the Family ID Core 4.  A family’s Core 4 strength might help them identify vision statements that resonate with them better.

Sample Family Vision Statements – Strong in Identity:

• “We aspire to be a beacon of love and heritage, where every individual’s uniqueness is not only recognized but also becomes a source of strength for our family’s future.”
• “Our vision is to cultivate a legacy marked by integrity, respect, and service, continually drawing from and enriching our family’s history and traditions.”
• “We aim to grow as a family that deeply values wisdom, resilience, and the pursuit of passions, further strengthening our shared identity and bonds.”
• “We envision a future where our family’s values of faith, compassion, and responsibility are exemplified in all our actions, significantly impacting our community and beyond.”
• “Our goal is to deepen our unity and purpose, passing down and enriching our stories and traditions through generations, creating a lasting legacy.”
